| Non-WTF Job: Software Developer at Rustici Software (Franklin, Tennessee) |
| « CAN-(ACCIDENTALLY)-SPAM | Hot Water Costs Money » |
First and foremost, a quick thank you our wonderful sponsors. They help pay the bills here at TDWTF and ensure that the site isn't plastered with ads for Pokémon cursors.
Iron Speed - Developers of a pretty cool utility that generates ASP.NET applications by simply pointing it to a database and clicking through a quick wizard; they also offer a free edition. RedGate - The folks behind SQL Prompt and other time- and frustration-saving development tools for SQL Server and .NET, two of which (SQL Log Rescue and PInvoke Add-In) are free. SlickEdit - makers of that very-impressive code editor and some pretty neat Eclipse and VisualStudio.NET tools and add-ins, some of which (Gadgets) are free. Typemock - makers of Isolator, a must-have mocking framework for .NET that's avaiable in a free Community Edition. The Non-WTF Job Board - Powered by HiddenNetwork, it features some great job opportunities like:
- WPF Developer at Mediber (Charlottenburg, DE)
- Python Developers Wanted at Socialserve (Charlotte, NC)
- Software Engineer at Autonomy Corp (Atlanta, GA)
- Web Application Developer at readMedia (Albany, NY)
- .NET Applications Developers at 5thFinger (San Francisco, CA)
With that out of the way, I thought I'd share some rather ... inspirational pictures that "rdunner" originally posted on the Sidebar.
UPDATE: Just to warn you, these were from a recent fridge cleaning in his company; the expiration date on this first picture should give you a clue of what's to come.
"I should also note," rdunner added, "we only 'recently' moved into the new building in Mid 2006. Obviously, some of the food came with us."

I was about to say: this was an acceptable post, and a perfectly inoffensive way to get the ads served.
And then you went and ruined it with those photos. I don't want to see that. Who cares if some fatass slob can't be bothered to clean his fridge out more than once a decade? Jesus, show me more ads rather than that wank. |

But this green cafeteria plastic tray was sitting on the top of a shelf in our desk, idle, not even emitting the tiniest hint of a bad smell, not even the smallest noise.
Little did we know. One day, probably taken by the spring clean-up spirit, I decided to investigate. There was a grocery plastic bag, that after opening did not give any hint about the content. Let's just say it was gross and of indefinate color. The scaries part was that when I lifted the bag, the thing inside actually managed to eat through it, and was staarting to eat the cafeteria tray as well, which was made from epoxy resin. I did go to the biggest dumpster and put everything in it, hopping it would not go through the metal as well. |

Every morning I sit down at my desk, log in, and open the Daily WTF. Then I get out my breakfast (usually a bowl of fruit and a container of yogurt) and read the latest posts. So I'm sitting here eating my fruit and scrolling down through the mold collection. Yummy!
All right, let's show our appreciation for this site and help ol' Alex out, everyone. Go up there and click on each of those sponsor logos and spend a minute browsing their websites. |

Whineys.
A Real Man´s Food is supposed to crawl out of fridge on it´s own, or is supposed to stay and be eaten. Period. Oh, by the way, the thing (or maybe The Thing) on the first picture is corpse of the classic Giger´s facehugger? Or, more to the point, is it dead already? |
